I was pleasantly surprised by the room I got for such a low price, even though there were a few cleanliness issues. The view of the canal was lovely, but discovering blood stains was quite unsettling. The service was friendly and welcoming, especially Nigel who was always there to help, although there seemed to be issues with managing pub users. The location was very convenient for my wife's drop-off at Heathrow Airport, and the warmth of the staff made up for any shortcomings. The dining area was small but the service was excellent, keeping me full and satisfied. Overall, a mixed experience with some highlights and some disappointments.
